Seminar: Establishment of a subsidiary and personnel recruiting in Japan
Hannover Messe

Our own presence is a key to success, especially in such a demanding market as Japan. Finding qualified personnel is also crucial. German companies face major challenges here in Japan: a lack of reputation, difficult access to the graduate pool, and a lack of specialized managers and engineers.
At a seminar organised by the German-Japanese Business Circle and ECOS on 24 April 2008, Japan experts and company representatives at the Hanover Fair gave practical advice on setting up a branch office, on ways of recruiting staff and on drafting employment contracts.
