Mamiko Shobayashi

Mamiko Shobayashi has been working as Office Manager for ECOS Japan since 2021. She supports the representative office of LEG Thüringen in addressing Japanese customers, trade fair and event preparation as well as translations and logistics.

As an employee of the IHK company pool for German environmental and geotechnology, she helped set up the first ECOS office in Japan from 1997 to 2001. She has extensive experience in organising and coordinating appointments for German clients, including two trips to Japan as part of location marketing for Invest in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern GmbH to attract Japanese companies to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (2014, 2015).

She studied German as a foreign language at the University of Freiburg from 2001 to 2002 and subsequently studied art history in Heidelberg until 2004. She speaks fluent German and has also been a state-approved tour guide since 2006.
